🎄 Christmas coloring pages

About these Christmas pages

Christmas pages are full of small objects kids already know, which makes them great practice for coloring inside the lines: glass ornaments, candy canes, stockings hung by the fireplace and gifts tied with bows. The decorated Christmas tree comes from Germany, where families began bringing evergreen trees indoors in the 1500s, and the star or angel on top is usually the last thing kids color.

Red, green, gold and white are the traditional colors, but a purple and silver tree works just as well. Toddler pages show one big ornament or a snowman with thick lines, while older kids get full scenes with Santa's sleigh, reindeer and a snowy village. The pages also make easy homemade cards: color, fold and write a message inside.
